GiftBuster is a free universal wishlist and gift registry app. You save gifts from any online store into one list, share a single link with family and friends, and they can quietly reserve what they plan to buy so nobody gets the same gift twice. It works on iPhone, iPad, Android and the web at giftbuster.app.
A universal wishlist is one list that holds items from any store, not just one retailer. Instead of keeping separate wish lists on Amazon, Target and Etsy, you save everything in one place and share one link. GiftBuster is a universal wishlist: last holiday season our users saved items from more than 10,000 different websites.
A wishlist is usually ongoing and personal (birthdays, holidays, things you'd like someday), while a gift registry is tied to one event such as a wedding or a baby shower. In GiftBuster both are simply lists: you can keep a year-round wishlist and create a separate list for an event, then share each with the right people.
Yes. GiftBuster is completely free on iPhone, iPad, Android and the web. There is no paid plan.
When someone clicks Buy and purchases an item, the store may pay GiftBuster a small affiliate commission. It never changes the price you or your family pay. We also show deals and promo codes from stores in the app. That is how we keep GiftBuster free.
Create a list in GiftBuster, then add items from any website. On a phone, open the product in Safari, Chrome or the store's app, tap Share and choose GiftBuster. On any device you can also paste a product link into Add Item and GiftBuster fills in the name, photo and price for you.
Yes. GiftBuster works with any online store, including Amazon, Target, Walmart, Etsy, Sephora, Nike and small independent shops. If a page can't be read automatically, you can still add the item by hand.

Open any product page in Safari and tap Share. Scroll the row of app icons to the end, tap More, turn on GiftBuster and tap Done. From then on, Share → GiftBuster saves the item without leaving the store.

Yes. Create a separate list for each child (or for an elderly parent) and share it with relatives. You stay in control of the list, and relatives reserve gifts the same way.

No. People you share your list with can open it in any web browser. They can even reserve a gift without creating an account: we email them a link to confirm the reservation.
Open their list, choose the gift, tap Reserve and pick how long to hold it (for example until their birthday). Other guests will see it as reserved, so nobody buys the same thing twice. On the web you can reserve without an account.
No. The person who made the list never sees who reserved what, or whether anything was reserved at all. Other guests do see reserved items, so the surprise is kept and duplicates are avoided.
When someone reserves a gift, it shows as reserved to everyone else who opens the list, so they pick something else. The list owner never sees reservations, so the surprise stays intact.
Go to My Reservations, open the item and tap Cancel reservation. Please cancel gifts you no longer plan to buy so someone else can get them.
Yes. Open the list, tap ⋯ next to its name and choose Collaborators. Collaborators can add, edit and remove items, which is handy for couples planning a registry or parents managing a child's list. Like you, they never see what has been reserved.
No. You browse and reserve in GiftBuster and buy in the store: Buy takes you straight to the product page. You can also buy the same item anywhere else, including a local store.
Delete it from your list so nobody buys it again.
Yes. GiftBuster checks the prices of items on your lists and shows a Sale badge with the discount when something gets cheaper. It also marks items that are sold out, so neither you nor your family waste time on them.
Yes. When the price of an item you saved drops, GiftBuster sends a notification to your phone, so you can buy it yourself or tell family it's a good time.

The best Christmas list app is one your whole family will actually use. Look for three things: it works with any store, relatives can reserve gifts without signing up, and the list owner can't see what was reserved. GiftBuster does all three for free on iPhone, Android and the web.
Yes. Create a list for the event, add items from any store, add your partner as a collaborator and share one link with guests. GiftBuster doesn't offer cash funds or completion discounts, so couples who need those may prefer a dedicated registry service.
